Growing up, I failed almost every subject in school. I got a 68 in Filipino in high school, and I hated studying. I thought I just wasn't smart.

As an adult, I discovered I actually love learning: books, seminars, new technology like crypto and AI. My problem was never my brain. Nobody had ever explained things to me in a way that connected with what I cared about.

Millions of kids face the same problem today. In the Philippines, the World Bank estimates that 91% of 10-year-olds can't read and understand a simple text.
